| how do i make my IP static? |

Im at witts end. I port forwarded my ports and i could host for, 3 weeks, amybe a month, then my UP randomly changed. is this because of my IP being dynamic. Or should it be static. either way, the routers my dad buys, are all pieces of crap. |

This might not be how you do it and might not work for you.. But it cant hurt.. If your running like a linksys or something goto 192.168.1.1 Password Admin. Then on setup Number of Address: to 1 Change DHCP Address Range: will stay the same. hope it helps. |

i forgot to add, it says i have to cofigure my settings, thats when i thought of the static/dynamic IP adress. |
