how do i make my IP static?
Camooninja:
Im at witts end.
I port forwarded my ports and i could host for, 3 weeks, amybe a month, then my UP randomly changed. is this because of my IP being dynamic. Or should it be static. either way, the routers my dad buys, are all pieces of crap.

This might not be how you do it and might not work for you.. But it cant hurt..
If your running like a linksys or something goto 192.168.1.1
Password Admin.
Then on setup
Number of Address: to 1
Change DHCP Address Range: will stay the same.
hope it helps.
Camooninja:
i forgot to add, it says i have to cofigure my settings, thats when i thought of the static/dynamic IP adress.
