Yes. Yes it is.

Did you ray trace the save file?
Nah, I generate the pov-ray scenes from inside Blockland, then I add crap I haven't implemented in my script yet (like good lighting and appropriate material finishes for the lighting I have). Then, I render it.

Brick textures are proving to be annoying because it's not just as simple as wrapping textures on surfaces because of the tops and bottoms of bricks. The top has the texture repeated as many times as there are studs, and the bottom, EEEEEW, it has different textures patterned according to the size of the brick.

Give me builds and I'll render them nicely. Or just wait for me to release my programs and you can do it yourself.

I feel like rendering something with tons of transparency.

I see why people want shadows so bad

I was the first to make this type of topic :D

Edit: I would give Badspot two thousand to rebuild blockland on a better game engine that can do this.

how about unreal?
with ragdolls :D

Haha, ain't secrets great! I'll release it eventually once I implement a few more things and fix any bugs I find.
You'll tell us soon, correct?
Neither actually.
Just rendered once? That might be a problem for ingame installation.

Pandan already figured it out.

This isn't rendered in-game, TGE isn't that cool. Besides, it already takes a few minutes per render, so if you wanted to have game graphics the way I'm doing it now, the lag would be extreme. Frame rate would no longer be in frames per second, but in minutes per frame.

This would be awesome to know hao2does.

How well does it render emitters?

Not at all (yet). I'm working on it.

Oops, my bad.

Anyhow, get textures to work.

Looks like Roblox, no ramps. They have brick shadows.

I spy a bls2obj program, you trickster you.

That was not intentional, in fact I've never played roblox.

I spy a bls2obj program, you trickster you.
I spy a Spock who can't read the thread, you lazy you.

Idea: make a dm thing.
Please elaborate.

Some guys leaked my giant blockhead of me, if you can find that, DO IT

BTW, the leaked one doesn't have the left arm, and it looks like my avatar picture.
