Author Topic: second grader gets suspended for drawing a crucifix  (Read 3114 times)

I now feel like going to school today and drawing every religious symbol i can remember.

My teacher told me I was too stupid for school. So I left and went home -seeing as I'm too stupid for school- and began playing Blockland.

It was a t!
This is funny.

Why would they suspend him? When a kid's that young, he doesn't know any better. Wasn't it obvious to his teacher that he most likely mixed up his ideas of Christmas and Easter?

Christmas is a big event in Christianity, with heavy relevance to Jesus. A strong symbol of Jesus is the crucifix. Its a pretty easy relation.

He shouldn't have been suspended. Thats forgeted up that the teacher tells him what reminds him of the holidays obviously Jesus is relevant to Christmas.

Ack, I hate our school system.

I should probably stop drawing planes that crash into buildings...  :cookieMonster:

Man, I wouldn't mind going back in time to second grade and drawing that.

Christmas wasn't Jesus' birthday. It's just a pagan holiday with Christ attached to its name.

Oh, here we go. -_-

What? It's true.
no seriously
you are right
I did a report on the origin of christmas
it turns out, you guys are actually celebrating the sun god :o

Bah. Yes, it may as well be true since none of us knows for sure when Jesus was born. Christians just decided to celebrate His birth on the 25th of December.

And my above comment was pointed at the likely following religion war that I will not be participating in.

Edit: Do you think that's a good enough alibi to ask for fireworks this year?
