| Avatar Transparency problems |

As i look through forums, i see that about a third of people have an avatar with a transparent backround. Before i tried to do this myself i thought to myself, they must have rubbed out everything other than the actual image, and saved it as a .png file. But then i try it myself and the avatar is there, but the backround is completely black. This really pisses me off, please help! I use paint.net btw |
