Small engi change?

Well I thought maybe the reason Trader cant continue his elevators is because of a engine change and the reason that the v0002 or rtb moving platforms cant be implemented is because a certain engine change.And I was wondering what is this small engine change?And can it be done?

He needs something changed in the Blockland engine it changed in v10 I think.
