Half my build vanished

I loaded the dogfight my friend and I had invested quite some time in, and yellow base was gone, red was cut in half, and thats it. Is there a way to recover it, or do I need to wait for my friend to come on so he can load it?

you have to wait until you friend comes back on. then you both load it. then you both should save it. either that or you disabled brick packs that you used to build it.
