Tt could be that the flying spaghetti monster made evolution. It's obviously not true and promotes saying "well here's our supernatural explanation let's stop thinking now". Even if it were a valid theory (which it isn't), it would be useless to consider it as it explains nothing. And of course it hasn't stopped. The only species that could possibly now be immune to natural selection now is us, and we don't know that.
