So we have proof of the end of the universe?
All good things come to an end.

The one thing that is getting to me is the creation of space. I can see all matter and energy in the universe collapsing and expanding from one point, but i don't think the bib bang literally creates space for itself.

Waitaminute, if space is infinite and the Big Bang did stuffs, doesn't that mean that the Big Bang is still taking place?

Space is infinite because outside the Universe is just a vaccum, the inside of the Universe too since the spaces between the atoms count as the vaccum too.

Yes, the big bang is spreading still.

Who said space was infinite?

If you were outside the Universe and between the outside, to one side you will see a horizon of clouds of plasma, and gas. To the other is just empty space or vaccum.

big bang is spreading... but technically, the area volume in between atoms is a vacuum, as well as just space.

Hay, its like we think alike.

 Edit: No we dont.

The big bang is not still going on in the sense of rapid expansion that it would have had. It's pretty much drawing the line to say the big bang ended about when the universe became transparent, but that's just what I consider it. The universe IS expanding, though, and I'm pretty sure science is doing research to figure out whether or not there's going to be infinite expansion or a Big Crunch (that's what it's called).

I'd like to add that we don't know what started the big bang, or if the universe is infinite. Just because we don't know something doesn't mean we need to fill the gaps with bullstuff and then defend the bullstuff when we have a real, scientific explanation. Here's an example.

People don't know how diversity of life happened -> They create a god or supernatural being to explain it -> All's well until science comes up with an explanation (evolution) -> It's far from the time the god was invented and it's now being taken 100% literally -> People defend their beliefs that were originally founded to explain an unknown phenomenon.

So don't defend creationism, it's just an old explanation for how life was created. Leave the fact discovering to science, and get rid of the arrogant belief that humans know the answers to these questions already. No matter how hard you defend your precious god and your beautifully flawed creationism, evolution and atheistic beliefs are going to be the acceptable norm one day, and you or your descendants will realize just how foolish you are.

For all of those bringing up Pascal's Wager, there are many flaws in it.

The first is that Christianity is not the only religion that says I'll go to hell if I don't believe. How do I pick and choose? They all have the same credibility.

The second is, if there is no afterlife and this is our only time of existence, look how much of your life would be wasted on religious ceremonies and traditions. You would get more out of life not being religious.

The bible is a book with a whole bunch of stories, plenty of them have been proven wrong, but the bible was written mainly to teach Morales, not just to say everything in this book is hard fact.

The bible was written by a bunch of crazy goat forgeters in a cave.
