Joining a server

I just got blockland retail version today and whenever I try to join a server it takes forever to load so i've only successfully joined one server so far

please help

Define "forever," and what does the loading bar say is downloading?

This is normal.

Blockland needs to download the files from the server needed to use the add-ons the server you are trying to join has. You can disable downloading certain files (models, sounds, etc.) in the Option menu under Network.
