Vertical Plate Bricks

I thought as much, it's just something I have been wanting for a very long time, since at the least V8.
It just seems strange that the height of bricks are measured in 1/3rd's but not the width.
I thought that these bricks could be placed on the same 1x Stud grid as ordinary bricks, so that they're only capable of being put against another brick, I never meant that they could be moved on a grid like normal plates can be moved up, if that's what you mean by the placement system

what if the plates appeared to be half the size of a real brick but functioned but the same as any other brick?
IE: a vertical plate 1x0.5x5 is just a 1x1x5 that looks different

That's what I meant with this, they function the same as normal bricks but they have a thickness of 1/3rd

Well, All I can say is that you won't see it in an official Blockland release.
