Dedicated Server Inquiry

I had a ded. server running yesterday fine but whenever I run dedicated.bat, it asks me for my Blockland name and tells me to put in the command with my name to authenticate or something. When I put in the command, nothing happens. So I try the alternative and join the server but it's dead and won't take my challenge request.

Other people on Youtube don't need to do the code/joining thing. How do I run a ded. server. Yes, I did forward my ports properly. I'm not some computer noob saying "lol whats ram is that a goat lol".

Please help me out. Thanks.
