I understands what a dedicated server is, thanks.  Although it is extremely possible I have  "broken the game," I don't think I did. (Due to all the other "same here" posts) Anyway, according to betababy, he tried reinstalling and the dedicated.command still did not work.  I do realize that this is not substantial evidence, therefore I will try myself.

Manty:

With a clean instillation of Blockland, dedicated.command still refused to comply.

Ephialtes:

So it just hangs at "Engine initialised" ?

I don't know how you pass command line arguments to executables via a .command file in mac but if you could add -trace and re-run it and show the console.log it would narrow down exactly where everything is hanging/stopping.

Yes, it does.

As for the command line argument, I don't know how to do that either.  I suppose all I can do now is wait for Badspot for further help/instruction.

How do I make a dedicated server on a Mac I know I need to run dedicated.command but do I need to keep running it in order to keep running my dedicated server?
