so anyway, here's my plan for the future of tier+tactical listed in order of importance Find a new goddamn CI / item icons artist THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN RIGHT NOW alternately actually recreate contact with older artists RELEASE THE GODDAMN BALANCING UPDATE WHY DO I KEEP DELAYING IT AAAAAAARGH Play with the Military Sniper's mechanics maybe forget with the sounds a bit, give it a projectile rather then a raycast. i'm thinking i should simply scale up the projectile to be twice the player's size so it has a higher maximum speed, to keep it fast but not undodgeable Change the LMG's function to be less of a support weapon and more of a Mighty Glacier style weapon you guys know what i'm talking about, right? the kind of gun that doesn't kill you faster as much as it does force you to fight it like natascha basically Add the Sniper Carbine to Tier 2A the Sniper Carbine is essentially an ironsighting weapon in concept and design except for the fact it doesn't actually use ironsights themselves: think like fallout 3-style scoping right clicking turns on a laser sight underneath the barrel which slows the player down but makes sure the spread is tight and the bullets can headshot (for 40 damage per shot with a 7 round clip) but slows down the player significantly: simply firing without the laser sight causes for a faster cycle time and more knockback but far less reliability with more then 3 times the spread standard shots do 20 damage Release T+T Future (eventually) Release Melee Extended II |
