he's not actually in the group at all, so the only way he could have gotten it (barring the whole 'way you're supposed to' approach) is that someone GAVE him the link
which means SOMEONE decided it would be cool to ignore SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS on what NOT you should be doing with the beta
