point one: the military sniper NEVER MISSES NO MATTER WHAT unless you're moving
point two: the pistol uses raycasts as well and thus is already broken

So, it is inaccurate when your not aiming at anyone.

And the samefor the pistol???

What? It will hit EXACTLY where you're aiming

That's what a raycast is

That's what a raycast is
not the pistol, it has some spread
not that it matters against most vehicles

This will be how to make military sniper balanced.

No crits on headshot, but crit and raycast hit.

I know what a raycast is. I was referring to the fact that your post made absolutely zero sense.

Actually, he doesn't know what a raycast is. And yes, his post made no sense at all.

Ok. The current Military Sniper gives critical hit in the head, making the person die instantly. If the raycast gave Critical hits instead, only players standing still would die in one shot. Or if you time the shot right.

The raycast is what causes it to hit instantly; the visible part is a projectile, which is purely for decoration.

You need to be sure you know what's you're talking about.

Oh, let me rephrase it, and the projectile does damage.

'Kay.

I think it's a bad idea.

Edit: To clarify, it works fine as it is; there's no need to change it. You shouldn't really be DMing on a server that large anyway. Though, I would recommend placing a cap on the damage-range boost effect.

Oh, let me rephrase it, and the projectile does damage.

that makes it basically shoot two bullets
are you high or what

The projectile does do damage belive it or not.

exactly 1

in other words precisely enough damage to kill a standard player if he's totally unhurt prior
