idk how to host a server

i tried but i cant.i think you have to port forword but idk what type my pc is,i cant find run or other things help@!@$$5%^

You no longer have to do any port forwarding business (if you're lucky). You just start a server as normal but select internet instead of singleplayer / LAN. If nobody joins for a while don't assume that your server's dead.
