i'm no gardening fan but 4 people who are: what if there could be gardens you could have and you would need to water and harvest them?

I'm half guessing this is impossible by script, more of an evented thing with the events onWatertouch and onPloughtouch and a watering can and plough item/vehicle.

You know like the infimining mod has tools and stuff that work with the script and/or events, it would be similar with possibly slowly growing plants (events) and then the items used to trigger the events, similar to using onActivate to open a door, but in this case onWatertouch to harvest the plant

oh, but do you think it should be made?
