Moving terrain and or skybox

There has been only one map like this, slate moving ground, and it was not well done.
I have absolutely no idea how to animate a skybox but i really want a slate warp. Basicly a slate with a starry sky and ground, but the stars are moving towards you.

It's really difficult to take ninety pictures of fifteen different skies and have it all seamlessly fit together. Even then it will look really choppy, and if you want a smoother animation, you can up that number to around six-hundred. And that's why no one has ever tried.
