How would you detect miles on a fair basis. If we were detecting miles in brick size, it would seem stupid because 1 mile would be the length of the bedroom, which is about 3 meters. BPH, Bricks Per Hour, seems like a better way to go. This probably wouldn't be hard to make. Check the vehicles velocity, how fast it is going depends on how much fuel it uses. The hard part would be making the vehicle stop moving when it runs out of fuel.

It's completely possible, and not all that complicated too.
