No they aren't Norton is.
Get better virus protection, like Avast. I advise buying the professional edition. It's awesome.

Norton just siphons all the speed of your computer.
Spyware terminator is much better.

I got a trojan once from an add-on, from Heedicalking's cannon, but it might have been a coincidence. But it still alerted i got a trojan right after i downloaded it. So i dont know..

No they are not. You probably just have a slow computer. That along with Norton, which is THE MOST resource using antivirus, is probably why your computer is slow.
