Building Lessons?

Hello, I need some help.
I'm not sure who would be willing, but anyone who does may be my build teacher.
I know what you're thinking, "this guy must be a noob", but I've been playing Blockland awhile now and building just isn't my thing.
I jut didn't catch on to building, and I want to impress my friends with good builds.
(Don't flame, 'cause there's nothing to flame about, I just need help)
P.M. your answer and what server to go on and what date.
