Shouldn't be, it is supposed to be a .bls file. You must have opened a Blockland Save File before with Notepad or some sort. There is a conversation about this problem somewhere in the topic, it will help you fix it I think.

You didn't save it correctly. When that little window pops up make sure "saveas" is checked.
