y'know, this kind of mentality makes a fandom look a lot smaller than it actually is

like MTG - the "temporary fans" is like 3/4 the fandom, then the diehard fans are the only ones left behind

there does tend to be a trend with people "joining the fandom" and then later "leaving the fandom" because they had no idea what they were doing in the first place. that goes for all fandoms though.

So I just dug up the TVtropes pages for season 4 and the second movie and I'll just say that I just KNEW the second movie was going to have a stinger like that at the end.
(yes, because I have an anxiety disorder, i can barely actually watch anything, so I get my plot summaries from wikis and tvtropes. I live a sad life.)

It's a contract thing that happens with all shows. Hasbro just has to renew the license.
