So there's this real cool Wii game called Silent Hill: Sharted Memories which is a pseudo-re-imagining of the original Silent Hill and you're some guy named Hairy Freemason and you have to find your daughter Sharon Stone.
You got hit by Rick Morstar fish's shrink ray and you're in a miniature model town and some starfish keeps dropping ice cubes on it and you get chased by ice monsters and the action is split up by the occasional exploration segment or maybe a Psychiatrist segment.

I'm excited
Apparently it got put on hold, and is now being developed by Arcane Studios... And now it's going to be more like System Shock 2 than Blade Runner which is a shame since the world in the demos looked SO GOOD.

I loved how there was shoulder mounted rockets too, and the visual fidelity, artistry, and atmosphere was awesome.

They said that on one side it's daytime and on the other it's nighttime. Interesting concept.

General Discussion / Why are brick textures 512x512??

So the resolution of brick textures in Blockland is 512x512, there's nothing really interesting about the textures anyway. Couldn't these be downsized to 256x256? There's just some transparent bevels on the edges, could there be a tickbox that loads 256 textures instead? There's alot of bricks in builds, and if you're loading some fairly high-res textures all over the place it's bad for memory usage if I'm not mistaken.

Man I can't wait until they finally port this goddamn game to the Personal Computer so I can mod the bastard.

I love exploring the world and trying to find every access point on every rooftop, I love seeing the architecture and pedestrians goofing about.
