I know. I was comparing the impact. And to all of those people who say that all of my reasons have been repeated over 9000 times, I am simply trying to make clear that I want people to think of BL as a user friendly game.

A lot of people don't know HOW to download other versions and even if they did, people would start posting them on the forums and the amount of bans will increase, thus giving people bad impressions of the admins.

I am aware of that. And I feel compassoniate about these people and I understand their needs. And this isn't just about the maps, it's about the loss of builds, limited generated structures to build on, ETC.

I like v21 in someways and dislike it in others. And no, I don't just dislike it because of no maps, I dislike it because of the loss of builds and the fact that you have no choice to choose what version you like.

Now before you dissmiss this as a whiner thread, listen. I can understand that the community is currently divided into two sides. I can understand why people hate V21 and why people like V21. I can understand that we need to move on. But if you give no people no option to choose what version they like, a lot of people will not like the forcing of new updates. For example, Google forcing Google+ and the One Channel on the Youtubers was a bad idea. And removing everything that people like without giving them an option to choose will turn the Blockland Community into the Genwunners of online gaming. And now this isn't just for the people who liked the maps, this is for the people who liked the REAL first Blockhead design (not the Lego Minifig, I like the Minifig but we can't use it for copyright reasons) and for the people who like Shaders. As you can see, I am not charging into this like a rabid Fanboy. I am simply anaylizing the community and comparing the admin's behavior to other behaviors of groups of people (Not ment to insult the admins in any way).
And how will my idea work, you may ask? Before the game loads, there is an option to choose the Blockland Launcher Era BL or the V7-V19 era BL. After you selected the era, you choose what version you want (IE: V14) and then the version you want loads up.
And now onto anaylizing. Kompressor's action are very similar to Google's actions. Allow me to explain this. When Kompressor removed maps, he gave us no option to play with V20 or V21, thus causing havoc in the Blockland community. 11 moths later, Google removed the Cosmic Panda channel layout and gave the youtubers no option to choose from the One Channel and the Cosmic Panda, causing the Youtubers to rebel against Google. But what if we had an option to choose V21 or v20? How would the community react? Later on, Badspot removed all links to previous versions and replaced them with links to v21, similar to Google patching all the hacks to swtich channel layouts. (And yes, I do realize I was only talking about maps there).
So, what do you think of my idea? Tell me what's wrong with my idea and what's right with it instead of saying '''OMG STAHP TRYIN 2 BRING MAPZ BAKZ)

I have changed my ways and will NOT post any other version of Blockland besides the current version (If BL.us is blocked, down, or hacked, I will give out the current version to players). I really want to play v20, please tell me how.

This is the RP thread for the Dominion War RP.
Rules:
1. No ''IT'S NOT CANON SIEGE HIEL CANON Riddler!'' nonsense. The two words ''Star'' and Trek'' are never ment to be combined with the words ''Non'' and ''Canon''.
2. No Mary Sues. You can be an orphan, but at least tell us how your parents were killed and give them a back story.
3. Doctor Who crossovers are aloud. I would make Star Wars, but then it would be too much stuff storms about ''TURBO LAZERS CNT BYPSS TEH SHIELDZ OF TEH GULUXIEH CLAS CRUZIAH!''!
4. Name your ship and choose a faction.
5. Give detail on your character.
Rules done for now. Start posting, Poodles! (I own a Poodle in RL)
