I was leaning toward black & red, but since that case was just recently released, it is in very high demand. the black and red one was out of stock and I'd have to wait 1 or 2 months for it to ship. however, ncix.com still has some white ones in stock which are ready to ship so I'll just go ahead and buy it

Why not use Ethernet? You're guaranteed a better connection that way.

EDIT: Is this video card better than the integrated graphics on the APU on the last build? I looked up the processor on CPU benchmark and it was in the higher end group. I didn't think I would be able to get a processor like that for just $72. I looked up the graphics card and it was also in the high end group.
the video card is better than the APU, but its definitely not high-end or medium-end. closer to low-end, same as the cpu.
id love to build myself my own laptop since the one I have right now blows
you cant build a laptop

I don't think you know what VirtualBox is.
yes, I do know, but you won't be able to run games that good, since first of all, running 2 operating systems at once will hog up the system resources, and the windows box won't fully utlize the hardware power. you wont be able to run games at anywhere above 10 fps

Sounds like someone installed the LTS release.
what??
There are many tools to run Windows-based software on any Linux platform, such as Wine or VirtualBox.
works with far from all windows games

i suggest dual boot; you can find a bunch of keys on sale for REALLY cheap all over the place

My current computer has integrated graphics and it doesn't work very well with most games.
you have a completely different CPU (intel) and integrated GPU (intel HD). this CPU (AMD) is designed to run games without a video card.
I think I'd rather use a separate GPU....I don't know if that's the cause, but I've heard from friends that integrated graphics CPUs are not good for gaming.
you aren't going to get a build with a seperate video card for 350. not even 400.

If you want a budget PC, AMD is always the better choice if it's not just for gaming and is under $700.
no, not really. that pentium is much, much better than any A4 CPU. maybe some AMD's are good for sub-400 builds, but DEFINITELY not 500 - 700 range. like, for example, an i3 is better than a fx-6300 in games, and costs the same. H81 motherboards are also very cheap, you can get some even cheaper than AMD AM3+ boards.

Second, stock cooling usually work perfectly unless you a. Have an awful case/ventilation or b. plan to overclock.
he thought that CPU's don't come with any sort of cooling at all

Hey, why don't you not start an argument over nothing? It's just an operating system. I can easily run windows games on it too so it doesn't matter.
hard to use, some hardware not supported, many games cannot run

Also, I noticed you didn't include a cooling fan or a gpu. I think I'll go for a different build.
lol
CPU's ship with fans. and that CPU has a very good integrated GPU, the A10 line of CPU's were specifically designed to run without other GPU's
