i'm sorry to announce that i shall no longer be able to keep updating this adventure myself, considering i have a lot going on now with senior year coming to a close and all that jazzy.

so, not to be a butt, but i've laid out an outline of my story for my bro to continue since he's a nerd who has all sorts of time to do this stuff anyway. not like he wasn't totally helping me make the art already lets be honest here, but now he's in charge of story too.

anyway, hopefully after school's out i might be able to come back and do these myself again, but until then expect all updates from swholli.

tootles for now~

Jump.

Jump! You can make it!

There's a voice in your head, and it's so.. compelling... his name must be something exquisite... like Bob...

I mean, what's the worst that could go wrong? It's not like there are giant fan blades down there or anything.

Well, this is embasrassing.

What the?

What the hell are you doing in there,
Phisher? You've got an assignment!

Oh! Sorry, sir, I'll be out right away, sir!

Phisher, why are you on the floor?
And how'd you get out here so fast?

I, uh, jumped out the window, sir.

...

I won't ask, Phisher.
Just get downstairs, you have a car waiting
to take you to Pennsylvania.

You catalog the paper into your inventory for later use.

(Keep that link in mind, it'll be the central hub for all things interactive in this adventure. Right now everything is draggable so we can overlap all objects onto one screen, however if this becomes too tiresome for myself and the reader I'm planning a grid structure ((which will also be the mobile version of the site, coming soon)) page to better utalize items. These pages will include all documentation, clues found, statistics and progress, maps, and other such assortments so I'll always add a link to the inventory to the post when I update it.)

Of course! You forgot to admire your I Want to Believe™: The Official X-Files™: The Movie™: The Comic Book™ Pullout Poster™!

You almost couldn't put it up because the Chief thought it was tacky, but when you told him it was for irony, he called you a "hipster asswipe" and walked away- but never said not to put it up!

A clever and resourceful FBI agent such as yourself would certainly have something cunning hidden behind this piece of fine art.

Oh. Nuggets.

It's just a small sticky note with a phone number written on it. Not sure why, but you suppose you should keep it. You place the sticky note into your inventory as well.

Well, you've had worse ideas, after all.

Well, this isn't so bad, why you can almost see your house from here!

Oh dear lord in heaven you are going to die.

The Chief, as he's commonly known around the bureau, walks away in a huff before you can even open your door to greet him.

Oh well, he's a busy man with many agents under his instruction, it's understandable he wouldn't stick around to chat.

Wait... what?

Oh... oh no! This damn door! It's always getting stuck! The last time this happened it took two janitors and a sledge hammer to get you out, and you're not paying for a new door out of your salary again!

There must be something in this office you could use to get the door unstuck without breaking it.

You'd best act fast, the Chief will be wondering what else could take you so long.

It's not really going to get the door open, but I suppose it isn't going to hurt to take a quick look at today's headlines, just to be sure you're absolutely briefed on what we, and the media, already know.

Quote from: News Paper
In what seems like just another robbery in the string of bizarre thievery sweeping the small state, the reports came in early yesterday morning about a missing nuclear reactor in one of the power plants located in Sticklerville, Rhode Island.

Local police are saying the theft is nearly, if not completely, impossible given that the robberies have taken place without even one tiny shard of evidence.

"It's just not possible," said one officer that morning. "I don't even begin to know how the hell you could move a contraption so [...] big without even showing so much of a scratch on the door!"

The sheriff of the town was present during the investigation but refused to comment on the situation or answer an of the raising suspicions that the people of Sticklerville have that the police force can't actually keep them safe when a group is running around committing effortlessly elaborate heists without so much as a trace.

He did, however, have one thing to tell this reporter.

"If we find those [...] involved with that supposed Clockwork Orange Gang and they know anything about this, they'd best run away while they still can because we are no longer afraid to bring force to their doors."

The Clockwork Orange Gang, a new and notorious group of terrorists running around the eastern area of the united states stealing large items like this and leaving not even a small amount of evidence, once again left a note to their crime, the only link that even exists in the investigation.

"WE R LIEK CLOCKWERK, WE R LEGOIN, WE WILL MAEK OUR ANCESTURS PROU. TEA TIME IS ON AGUN [sic]" reads the typed out note, and it's exactly the same as the one previous. What does it mean? Should we be worried? Perhaps answers can be found before it's too late, at least this reporter hopes so, for all of our sake's.

The article is continued on page 53 of the paper, but it's nothing more than a retelling of the previous thefts, something you need nothing to know of just yet. Right now you need to focus on the case at hand.

But, more importantly, right now you need to focus on getting that door open, and soon.

Before we start, I should answer a few questions. 1. yes I am swholli's sister. 2. no I did not make all of the pixel artwork in the first few pics, swholli helped me, but he also taught me how to use the programs so now I should be able to do this by myself. 3. does forgetting about adventures and letting them die run in the family? I hope not, I'm not as lazy as my brother. But we'll see. 4. In case you were wondering, I'm using my bro's account on photobucket and the microsoft paint adventure's forum because I can't be bothered to make my own and he already knows how to use all of that for me. 5. No, I did not grow up on adventure games like my brother did so I might be a bit rusty with the concept. I'll ask swholli to help me when I get stuck, but if I make a mistake and he's not around, bear with me.

So, as presented by enholli, this is my story:

This is an office. Your office. You're an FBI agent with a license to kill, but no target.

You've been hoping to be put on an assignment soon and, as luck would have it, today is finally that day.

What a boring day it is, though. How could anything exciting happen on a day like today?

Oh Washington DC, you so cray.

You look down at your trusty badge that identifies you as an FBI agent. It's your symbol of honor and you wear it proudly, right next to where it says your name.

Which is...

You haven't forgotten your name, oh no, you're not a richard like that. You're just building up the suspense in your head as you imagine the director announcing the agent who gets to meet the president for such an outstanding job as an investigator.

Your name is....
