Good job frankie, you gave Kalphiter exactly the publicity he wanted to get. Way to spoonfeed him.

Modification Help / Re: How Do You Script?
« on: May 30, 2014, 03:31:43 PM »
You can find the default jeep model here, and you can find a tutorial on how to actually make the vehicle work here.

Oh, just make sure you don't screw up and actually make a porsche, because they won't like that.

Could you post some more screenshots of these corruptions?

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Possible BLHack.dll fix
« on: April 06, 2014, 03:25:50 PM »
this wouldn't really work unless the list's MD5 hash would be checked
unless you can crack MD5 (I don't remember if they're secure anymore or not)

Quote from: Wikipedia
A 2013 attack by Xie Tao, Fanbao Liu, and Dengguo Feng breaks MD5 collision resistance in 218 time. This attack runs in less than a second on a regular computer.

Couldn't Badspot press charges against computermix? Modifying the game is against the EULA for blockland. Also The law requires parties in contract to perform their obligations under the contract. Which means by law you cant violate an EULA. So badspot could press charges or at least threaten to press charges.
In order for Badspot to be able to press charges for reverse engineering the game, the EULA would have to state that, upon violation of said terms, you are liable and can have legal action taken against you.

Modification Help / Re: Torque Script

There are tons of things that you can look at for reference. Things like Slayer, and Item Storage.

They have a wide range of things used in them, and you should be able to find whatever technique/methods you need inside them somewhere.

Or you could stop constantly being a human stuff stain and do something correctly for once.
You could as well, you know. An idiotic thing to do yes; but it doesn't in any way justify calling him a "human stuff stain."

General Discussion / Re: Vehicle Limit
« on: March 28, 2014, 10:40:45 PM »
Most of those limitations are a result of the stupidly small packet size limit of 1 kibibit (128 bytes) badspot has for whatever reason profusely refused to raise.

For example, vehicle updates get priority over player updates in networking, so the number of vehicles has to be limited so that a rogue player can't spawn 100 vehicles and all of a sudden nobody can see anyone else moving.
