Just pushed out an update to all the nodes. I've updated Support_FixAddonSorting to add an assortment of functions that should make certain management actions much easier from now on. (Note: You will need to do the 'Update/Repair server' action in the main menu to receive the update)
Here is a list of the functions added
- help(); (Shows a list of essential commands)
- addSuperAdmin(ID); (Makes someone a super admin)
- addAdmin(ID); (Promotes/Demotes someone to admin)
- removeAdmin(ID); (Demotes an admin)
- listAdmins(); (Prints out both admin lists)
- reload("Add-on_Name"); (Hotloads an add-on of the given name. Use at your own risk.)
- doCommand("command"); (Performs a 'slash command' as admin without needing a client. Command arguments are separated by commas like in most functions)
Other functions added:
- smp(); (Shorthand for setModPaths(getModPaths());)
- fcbn(); (Shorthand for findClientByName();)
- fpbn(); (Like fcbn but returns the player instead of the client)
- addToFieldList(); (String function)
- removeFromFieldList(); (String function)
To be clear, this means that all these functions will be available on newly deployed servers by default, which should make the process of initially setting up admins and getting used to the console much faster.
On top of this, the anti connection spam filter has been updated a bit to be a bit more clear about what it is doing. Also added a purgeSpamIPList(); command which can be done if any legitimate users complain about getting 403 errors.

We've just finished pushing out updates that will affect all BlockNet clients!
First and foremost, we have our newest feature: Backups! You can manage backups via the Control Panel in Server Settings/Utilities. You can create backups, restore from backups, and delete unneeded backups. Our system also automatically generates a backup of your server each week, and up to three of these automated backups are kept. This guarantees that you always have at least 2 weeks of rollback time from automated backups. Your manual backups are kept indefinitely.
In addition, our customers on High Performance nodes have been upgraded to faster systems; bringing our high performance nodes from fast to ludicrously fast.
Lastly, any of our High Performance customers who had not already opted in to upgrade to our DoS attack thwarting system have been upgraded to it.

I'm now happy to announce that I've just deployed a new system on the two High Performance Shared nodes which will help prevent your server from being overwhelmed by connection spam attacks. This system is also available for those on Dedicated nodes as well, but is opt-in only. Please contact the support email if you would like to opt-in. This service is not available for the Budget Shared node because the node does not have sufficient resources for this. If you're on us1 or us4 nodes, you already have the new system installed. All that should be required is to reboot your server. To check that your server is running this new system, simply enter

Other than this question, there is nothing I need to know. I would love to get this, just need to sort out some money things then I'll buy a slot!

Sorry for the slight delay on that update. Having the anti-crash patch installed meant that I had to disable the automatic updating mechanism in the server's backend for things to not constantly break. I've just updated all the nodes and future updates should now be seamless.
Here is a quick list of changes:
- Updated backend for seamless Blockland updates
- Updated control panel to fix a few things and added the ability to start your server with a specific gamemode
+ In order for your control panel to update, you must fully exit it by selecting option '0' and then log back in.
- Slight backend update which now allows for multiple people to access the control panel and remote console simultaneously.
- BLAntidote.dll is no longer used.
Here are some instructions on how to get your server updated without any hassles.
1. Shut down your server with quit(); in the console (or do ctrl+c if the server has crashed and is stuck)
2. Select option '2' on the control panel. The update should be done almost instantaneously.
3. Re-enter your hosting key with option '3'. If you have a rental key, simply do option '7'.
4. Start your server
