Add-Ons / Re: Wall Bricks
« on: July 24, 2010, 03:45:11 PM »
Are there icons for the bricks? I know it's a stupid question and it's kind of a hassle to add icons, apparently, but I'm sort of OCD about seeing ? icons all over my bricks menu.

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Character Appearance

I have multiple outfits that match my style, for different scenarios/games.

(I did add a space one, with a helmet and the nasa shirt, but this picture is old)

I'd download and use it, or at least try it and compare with RTB before judging it so much.

I dunno how I could implement this idea realistically, but I would make some form of miniature nuclear weapon. It would obviously never be abused, and end up being loved by the community.

5
I would change it to the source engine, and it wouldn't be gmod with bricks, it would be blockland in source starfishs.

Good idea! Gmod with bricks sounds awesome! If only there were a game that was extremely similar to Gmod, but used Legos as a building material rather than physics props...

Washington, America.

Yes, we are all 300 lbs and eat hundreds of cheeseburgers a day.

General Discussion / Re: If you loose Blockland Can you back it up???
« on: July 11, 2010, 01:23:59 PM »
Well, I'm not sure what backing up Blockland has to do with a loose issue, but here's my advice.

Whenever I have a loosened Blockland, all I do is get my trusty screwdriver, and tighten it back up. Simple as that.

You're welcome.

the screen may be big but it does not make the graghics good its the computer

The words might be English, but it does not make what you're saying make any sense. It's the grammar.

Turn shadows up.

Obviously they would be turned up if I didn't have a reason for having them turned down. My computer is a piece of garbage and I can't handle 5000 bricks on my screen without my framerate dropping to about 10fps. I'm aware that both games could've looked better in that snapshot, had I turned on/up'd some of the visual effects in each of them.

Which legos do you like more?

There seems to be one of these topics that asks "Why do you play Blockland" or "When/How did you discover Blockland" almost weekly, so I'm just gonna start copypasta-ing previous posts that I've said on older, similar threads.

"Back when I played Roblox in 2007, a bunch of handicaps from this 'Blockland' game spammed the hell out of the Roblox forums. I was in like 6th grade at the time, so I just treated it like

'Oh my god, another lego-based building game! Roblox and Blockland must be at war and all people who aren't robloxians are handicapped and must die!'

Buuut as time went on, I matured, and the majority of Roblox' community didn't. I tried the BL demo, thought it sucked, went back to Roblox. Eventually Roblox just got so horrible that I decided anything could be better, and so I went and bought Blockland around January '09. stuff's been SO cash ever since."

You pay for Blockland, and countless other games.
What the hell is your logic here?

Sorry, I noticed the error of my ways and edited my post for you.

Well, let's look at the facts.

Population:
 - Roblox: Kids
 - Blockland: Teens/Young adults
(Both of those being my assumptions from what I've experienced and asked throughout my time playing both games)

Gameplay:
 - Completely different, but both Lego related

Money Usage:
 - Roblox: Free, but practically force you to pay for any benefits at all. Paying happens in intervals at outrageous prices and almost all benefits are revoked if you stop paying.
 - Blockland: $20, own the game forever. Free updates. Speaks for itself.

Knowing these things, we can conclude that:
Chances of forum trolling between both games and continual arguing until the end of time:
100%!

Thank you. Now if you have any common sense, you should just ignore and not care about trolls. And definitely don't post any negative topics toward Roblox or the people that are annoying you from Roblox, because then you're just stooping to their level and making yourself look like a moron.
