nah people just like feeling superior over others by having an "old" key

don't sell it lol it goes against the EULA
I hadn't decided one way or another (though the EULA thing makes sense - I'd feel like crap if I sold something to someone and then it stopped working because it got banned).  I'm just paranoid about things and find the whole situation ... weird, frankly.

General Discussion / Guy wanting to buy my auth code.

I purchased Blockland in 2007, so my ID number is, like, 300something.  I've got a someone who tracked me down via Reddit and Steam asking about purchasing my original account as s/he wants to buy it from me to get the low id number, some story about playing back in the day and wanting the status symbol of the low ID.

...

There some scam here I'm not seeing?  I've not really followed the game since... 2008-9? and I've got another copy of it through some Humble Bundle I purchased, that just seems a weird thing to want to have.

(Edit - apparently my ID is 700 something.  Must have just remember 3 as three digit)

Apparently I don't know how to aim a shield down.  Still, swung up, managed to get fairly far.... no points for guessing what happened shortly thereafter that resulted in me not getting a gold hook.

Here's how you beat the log challenge.

go to the volcano and farm dynamite. get at least 20, so if you mess up you can try again.

obtain a shield.

find the area on the log challenge that has a high cliff, sorry i dont have a picture.

drop i think 4 dynamite and then AIM YOUR SHIELD DOWN

the blast will take you to the top but BE READY TO HOOK ON.

hopes this helps~!

That's either a helpful solution, or a trolling method that'll be so spectacularly awful that I need to do it anyway just for how hilarious it'll be.   That second option alone is making me want to film it.

Anyway, less stuffposting, actual questionanswer...

There's no "Always start from here" sort of trick, you just kinda brute force your way up then.

Alright, time to start swinging again.  Seems I get halfway up and slam into one too many branches too fast and splat, or miss a hook and fall... to a splat.

AoT?????????????????????????
In my search of the forums to find relevant information, even I was able to determine that this joke is long played out.  But this joke.....

I sold all my clothes for crack money and then I was wanted for being naked. Then I was sent to jail and my time was going higher because I was still naked. I have no clothes to put on. Then I found out I'll be in jail, forever.
I hear that'll be fixed in the next patch.

........... that'll forever be funny.

Yeah yeah, I know.  First time I played it years ago I kept getting killed more than a few steps outside of town, so I quit.  Whatever, I'm playing it again because I can (also why does it still exist?) and... the Log Challenge.

The Log Challenge.

Is there... some trick to making it easier?
