General Discussion / How many add ons?

Hey guys, I just finished downloading and registering the game, I join my first server and Oh My Days, how many add ons? Currently the count if 5 mins just sat here downloading new content - dont get me wrong, I love it. All this extra stuff for free, and I also like that you can chat to players while connecting to the server.

Just wondering really if there are any servers (which anyone knows of) which run just the basic bog standard Blockland?

Even if they can't use the wrench, they can still use /wand to get a wand. Even if they have a wand, they can only break their own bricks, and anyone they have full trust with's bricks.

Oh what cool so you can only wand your own bricks? Nice. does that mean you can only build on your own as well?

I have a few questions about Blockland;

Is it possible to make it so only the admin can use the wrench? That way no one can spawn a wand and go on a rampage?

Also I noticed that blocks respawn after they have been blown up - is there a way to set the time limit on this, so say it stays blown up for 10 mins? Or is there a way to turn it off all together - so that once blown up it doesnt come back?

I think I might have worked out whats going on.

My bank hasnt fowarded my address and in fact still has my old address (which is my mums house) as the billing address. Or at least this is what I believe. Once I had entered the incorect address several times the site (or perhaps my bank?) blocked the transaction from happening again so even if I now try with the correct (?) address it wont accept it. Hopefully this will wear off within 24 hours or somthing.


At least this is the best guess I have as to why it isnt working.

I've tried everything I can think of. Further more I cant make a paypal account because i dont know the address of my branch - will have to find out another day. I'm hoping I can use a house mates card to pay and give him the cash, it works out at about £13 or so. :)

Is it possible for you to use any other method of payment? Laboring over one while another would be quicker doesn't make much sense.

I dont know. I may be able to use a house mates card I'm not sure.

Hey guys,

I have just spent the last 10 mins or so trying to buy blockland but it doesnt seem to be liking it.

I enter all my card details and checked them thoroughly and the buying page keeps bouncing back with this;

"The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit or debit card number."

Why cant my card be used? Its a VISA debet card and I know there is money in my bank so whats the deal?

WOW yeah it really has, physics now and everything! Even a tutorial - good stuff. Very tempted to buy... But it is a bit dissapointing that you do have to pay, when before it was free.

Hey guys,

I am new to blockland (just playing about with the demo at the moment). I love this game, I remember playing it years ago before it had physics or any weapons other than the spear, bow and sword. Great stuff, but I am wondering.

If you buy Blockland do you get it forever? I mean if I buy blockland now while it is V11 when it gets to V12 or above do I have to pay again?

Also how would you keep a record of owning the game? Say if I format my computer, would I have to buy it again or will there be a hosted database with some sort of recipt?
