Before I begin this post, let me add a bit of backstory. If you'd rather just see the images, it's pretty easy to spot when they start.
I'm writing a Sci-Fi book called "Last One Out, Get The Lights" in order to help visualize my areas and settings I like to build physical representations here in Blockland. Mostly it's been ships for the main military in the book, the United Nations Contingency Force [U.N.C.F]. This specific topic is being made because I finally feel like I'm doing a project worthy of the forums and the gallery.
A little about me, hopefully to help you understand what this project might become.
My biggest Sci-Fi inspirations are Halo, Mass Effect, and Star Trek. I have a very specific vision of the future and that goes into my book.
I love details, I add a lot of interactive details into all of my builds. Usually towards the end, but a lot of them are added during the initial process.
I love big projects, but not just that I love having things to do in them. From making coffee, to flushing the toilets to activating security systems or turning off the engines, I love making my builds interactive. [This specific one probably won't have interactive engines though]
I will spend hours or days eventing to make something just right. I'm not the best in the world, but I'm very clever with eventing. I love making complex airlocks or security systems, bots to add life to the build, etc.
But anyways. On to the good stuff. Now I could have taken the time to resize the screen shots but I'm lazy as stuff. Maybe in the future I'll do it and update all these pictures. But for now, may I present.
The U.N.C.F Leviathan

Now keep in mind, "this is section one" so to speak, it's going to be two floors and then there's going to be a second section up top to add a better shape and more detail to the work (AS WELL AS AIRLOCKS AND HANGARS WOO). Section two will be either two floors or three.
Up next is a show of my doors. The reactor door. It plays noise when you click it, the lights flash blue really quick and then green for as long as the door is open, then they turn off when it closes.

And now for just a few fun images.

(The keypad beeps!)

I actually did not make that, somebody left it basically in my ship, if whoever built this is out there. Thank you. Seriously. It turns on and off, was supposed to play noise but I took that out and left in the interactive feature of... MAKING LIGHTS HAPPEN.

A console.

But if you go near it, it activates. (I'm actually just about to make it glow the appropriate color while it's activate)

And The Captain with all of his one crew member.
That's all for now, I've just started and this is mostly just the shell. I have a weird way of building. CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is welcome, but keep in mind that I am adding details everywhere to fill in any awkward shapes and such constantly and the factor that I'm building it by myself, because that's the way i like to build.
EDIT: My in-game name is Andrew Price. If you'd like to join my server and see this for yourself, it's the "Sci-Fi Freeplay Server"
