It is milkshape. I can have custom shadow in blender fine.
Yeah, that's probably it. I haven't tried exporting models since I got 3ds max. So I'm only recalling experiences from back'in the day with milkshape.

I still can't get rid of the collision shadow, i made the LOD of the other parts 16 then 0, nothing worked, the LOD for the collision is of course -1 so it collides with the ground, players and projectiles how do i stop this?
I honestly think it's a problem with blockland itself, because I've had this problem since a few updates ago; And no advice I've taken has fixed it.

Might be wrong though.

Awesome, but too smoothed IMO.
It looks like it's smoothed, but those are just the default shadows in my perspective view port.

Heed might even be able to help you bring it in-game.
Oh god no, this was just for mockup purposes, hence the lack of detail.  The rights to making this addon is heed's, so I've got no interest in taking over now.

Not to mention I think I've hijacked his ranting topic enough already ;)

I'll try and throw together a quick mockup to show you what I mean, heed.

The sides of the boat taper inwards, and the back is rather curved. It remains low poly, but gives it more of a troop carrier feel, whilst still keeping in the blockland theme (Hence square driver holes).

And it's blocky.

So i have no idea what you're bitching about.
I'm not bitching, I'm giving my opinion on it.

Add more detail to the driver compartment, maybe add a turret. Most of the time the drivers compartment is inwards from the back, because of the room needed for the boats engine.

They're saying "Nice box" because it doesn't look like anything else but a box. Try and extract the implications of what people are saying, instead of just reading it.


Really, it lacks detail and looks like a freight container, not a troop transport. Try and base it off the picture  Mr.Bill posted in the topic.
