Some people here are still running Windows 95 and don't know any better, sorry for that person's stupidity.

Please give us a bit more information how you are using Blockland on your system.  Are you trying to run Blockland in full screen mode or Windows mode?

Please run 'dxdiag' and post what you find here for us to help you a bit more.

Modification Help / Re: Possible to make a door hinge Add-on?

Well, I think the hinge is from Legos really.  :)

I'm not sure Roblox is worth looking at, I'm still not in with Java myself.  Long live C++ and the come back of ASM!

Anyway, yes, I know it could be done with Events, but again, wanted to know the powers of Blockland's engine and scripting language.

Not as of yet.  I'm doing as many newbies probably do, and that's building my home. With the scale I'm using, everything is extra big where my blockman is like 5 inches tall.

Scale is: 1x1 = 2x3 inches.

At the end, I'm guessing at this build, Blockland wouldn't be able to handle custom type hinges due to the angles it would have to deal with plus if it would even be possible to mix add-on/modeling with blocks themselves???

So my next move is to look into what can and can't be done with the scripting side of this without having to go into modeling which I'll probably tamper with once I get my hands around how Blockland works and find some good documentation as well.  But at the end, I would like to work on this project with the least about of modeling as possible.

Since I wasn't able to find the readme file on JVS, and again, very new here, wasn't sure if you could use JVS Content Add-on for this.  Also the model I'm building using Blockland isn't the same scale so I would need much larger doors since the scale I'm using for a 1x1 brick equals 2 by 3 inches.

Modification Help / Possible to make a door hinge Add-on?

Being very new to Blockland, needed to know if there was a way that a custom add-on could be made where blocks could be added to the custom add-on.  Example being if an add-on such as a door hinge where blocks could be added to the hinge to allow a custom door to be made out of blocks.  My first guess would have to be not possible, but thought I would post this anyway to see.

Help / FX Paint Stuck
« on: March 18, 2010, 08:11:03 PM »
Two questions, when you select an FX paint, how can disable FX paint and go back to the normal colors?

With that, I'm stuck in an FX Red Blink.  I have tried using FX - None without any luck.  As well, when I say I'm stuck, when I exit the game and reload the it, I still have FX - Blink and when I try and select FX - None, the brick does go back to Red, but you can still see a very light blinking going on?  Any ideas on this one?

Help / Common Source for Custom Bricks

Is there a location that hosts files for custom bricks?  Also has there been a wiki setup for Blockland to help new users like myself?

Part of the fun I found out is learning how to use Blockland since it's not really documented at all.  So with that, if this is your first day at it, take it slow and it will come to you. :)

You have to be careful how you ask your questions or you will get a lot of replies putting you down more or less.  Now what it is that your looking for?
