DrenDran, I guess what I mean is that it seems ironic that one person would find profanity offensive, yet it is relatively permissible, and then my son's posts created so much drama (and was offensive to so many on this forum)...the comment just gave me pause...

There really isn't any such thing as inappropriate language here.
In fact, "inappropriate" is relative, it varies place to place.

One would think, then, that posting habits would also be relative, as what is offensive to one varies...

No child is genetically stupid, saying they have a mental disease doesn't mean you can let him be a little stuff on the internet.

I wouldn't want him to use inappropriate language, either.  You obviously don't get it.

Otis, thanks for the direct question.  Firstly, my son has asperger's.  It doesn't surprise me that he is creating fiction...I think he has looked up to this forum for over a year now.  He has searched for add-ons and sought help her long before he became a member.

I'm sorry that he said those things, but I think he's in his own way trying to look "cool".  I appreciate that you haven't berated him, and this is useful discussion as I can talk about it with him.

Well, I guess that answers that.

As my son clearly doesn't know how to type with punctuation yet (the reason why one of his posts was so difficult to understand), and my vocabulary is clearly more advanced than most on this board, I suppose it doesn't surprise me that many of you would think that this is not legitimate.

And sympathy and pity are on the mark.

Okay, I am going to post a response to this.  I am WeakNinja's mother.  My child is probably younger than many of you and is extremely new to internet etiquette.  While I am sure this means NOTHING to many of you, because obviously you are more interested in bashing members of this forum that are not as savvy as you believe you are, he has a keen interest in this community and the blockland game.  I am saddened by your apparent obsession with his inability to fit into your forum.

He is not a spammer, he simply doesn't know any better.  Rather than teach him, however, by giving constructive feedback, you'd rather bully and call him names.  Your behavior is detestable, and I am grateful that we do not know you personally.
