Server denies permission.

Client uses BuildBot anyway.

Where is the solution here?  Why is this even truly a problem?  The only way to stop abuse for anything is to clearbricks and ban.
Server denies permission, then the script says to get permission, instead of planting bricks.

Seriously, there is a way. With some edits.

You make the server also have to have the(or a server version) add-on.

Then, the client asks the server if it is permitted to build.

Or, just modify the script to use trusts.

Well, although I see an obvious way to restrict this, I must say I want this script to stay.
For one, what new threat does it pose? As far as I see it, it may as well be a macro menu. All it does is rebuild things you have built.

But I like this, becuase it will remeber my events, and more compliacted work.

But seriously, I can build an event timer more destructive than this. Without any add-ons.

I vote that this stays. I'm sure you can add a way to ask the server for permission, but I want it to stay.

Anyone heard of portableapps.com ?

I use them all the time.

I want Blockland to have a portable version like minecraft, so that I can stick it on my drive and take it with me.

WHY DOES MINECRAFT GET A PORTABLE VERSION, AND NOT BLOCKLAND????????

There's a gallery to showcase your builds....but what if you want to offer a download?

I mean, I barely look in the gallery, I don't want to be teased. Hardly 1 in 30 have a download.

So, separate board. Where I can, say, upload my town for people to download and enjoy. An entire board where you can find downloads for builds so that you dont have to build it yerself :P

This needs a feature on the welder, a way to downgrade(and eventually destroy) your sentry.

This is becuase, the only downside to this add-on is that you cannot get rid of sentry.

You can build a new one, but not get rid of sentry all together.

I have been trying to ask him a question about AoT, but both the forum and email have failed(of course, I used blockland support email, so maybe thats why it was ignored there).

I am sure it is possible, as it is done with the C4 add-on.

Just dont know how.

Go get the c4 add-on and read through it.

The c4 is planted, and a timer is set.

C4 goes off either when the timer expires or you jet, whichever comes first.

if you can find out how to access the sqlite stuff from script - I think a lot of us would be eternally grateful.

If blockland really did implement SQLite, try sqlite.openDatabase("myDatabase");  in one of your scripts and see if it fails. If it doesnt fail, it will create a SQLite database named myDatabase. If SQLite isnt implemented the way we hope, your script will fail.

This isn't like TGE where you have full sourcecode and can easily make engine changes (I wish it was).

But a login system and such can be done for a MMO-like setup, it just wont look like the tradtional login your used to on the commercial games.

I have TGE, if that makes anyone more interested in this project.
