I can't believe we're having intelligent and thoughtful conversations about real life issues on this God forsaken hellhole of a forum, it almost warms my heart in a way.

Uhh I didnt even have to do that and im paranoid you might wanna double check the file you got.
I checked a few times and even had some other people look into it, so maybe we just have different versions of Windows or different security settings?
Also
Is there anyone who will do commissioned mods for Rebuilt. There are some blocks based on Lego blocks that I am desperate to be able to use

Update since I've been playing Blockland Rebuilt for a few days  now:
I'm obsessed and it makes me so happy that someone made this. Especially that they did it without expecting financial compensation or anything like that. BLR really brought back all the things in BL I thought were gone forever and would only be remembered as nostalgia.
p.s. I had to disable Windows security settings in order to download all of the files and get the entire thing to work. i would take this in exchange for a computer virus any day

I think we could all do with a sobering look back on our time here on blockland, less so to be personally punitive but moreso to try to glean what scars this place may have left on us. But I'm sorry, whatever you've been accused of, you were a minor, and pragmatically, you have to let yourself off the hook a bit the way we let minors off the hook and send them to juvie instead of Folsom. I don't think it's fair to yourself to even try to make a moral equivalency there, especially in regards to bisjac.
Thanks, I guess my post is more relevant to the title of the thread than the original post. I just feel like I've been wanting to share that and this thread seemed the most relevant.

There are alotta weirdos out there but honestly, other than harmless trolling I've been a saint, and other than harmless trolling the community was very kind to me and gave me a place to grow and learn.

I don't doubt there are evil people out there, after all several members were convicted for various crimes, but my experience has been enjoyable. This really is a nice odd little pocket of the internet.

Either way whatever floats your boat. My condolences for being who you were when you were in this community at your time.

TLDR, I'm not a bad part of the community. And there are plenty in the community that are not bad
 Just annoying, but not bad.
my brother in christ you are missing the point completely

at the risk of getting flamed, i would like to share something that i feel summarizes the entirety of BLF
I've been on here since I was like, 13, around there. For anyone who doesn't know, I'm a girl (I guess....a woman now?) and when I look back on many of the interactions I had on the forums, sometimes I feel resentful because in retrospect there was definitely a lot of bad stuff that happened and at the time it affected me a lot. Since bisjac has already been mentioned, I'll mention his name but there were others (especially a girlfriend of his) that were treating a teenage girl in a way that problematic and at times probably qualified as legit harassment.
im 25 now and a year or so ago, i received a message on my blf account after logging in for the first time in a long time. the person who sent this message said that i had made their life miserable and loveually harassed them and that they should take legal action but wouldn't if I apologized. it was a long message and it accused me of things that did not make sense to me at the present day. i was horrified and even though i remember interacting with this person, i was so caught off guard by the things they said. this person was legitimately hurt by my actions, enough so that they reached out to me 10 years later to remind me of it. i was 14 or 15 when i was interacting with this person so their accusations of me having malicious intent to hurt a child seemed crazy to me. the message almost seemed like a message I could have sent to 50 people on this forum if i were doing what this person was.
the point im trying to make is that we all did stupid stuff and look back and cringe and hope to never reckon with any of our actions back then. but even those of us who feel like we were kind people, one of the "good ones" probably hurt someone else at some point, even if we didn't intend to. and even if we've forgotten it, many of the people we have hurt haven't. this whole forum sort of became its own entity and inevitably affected the blockland community as a whole, people who still played the game and those who didn't.
this post is not in any way meant to excuse the behavior of anyone, and there were definitely evil people on here. but i just feel that none of us should be quick to exclude ourselves from the "bad" part of the community completely. i just hope we are all trying to do better than we were back then i guess

I see now that I was a little too optimistic about the general attitude of most people here. I think the nature of the argument on this topic is honestly perfectly displayed in this thread and after commenting and seeing the response it really further strengthened my view. If I wrote out all my beliefs on it, people would quote it and try to argue with me about specific aspects of my opinion which isn't what I'm trying to do really. I don't feel the need to explain how I feel just so that a bunch of men on the internet can pick it apart and turn it into something completely different. Also at 21 years old I'm not trying to be liked by other users, I'm more concerned with just setting the record straight on certain things where I feel my opinion is valuable

Yes basically men talking about how it's none of men's business what women should do with their bodies and yet they are all discussing it in great depth and when I try to join the conversation as a woman of child-bearing age I was ignored and men went back to arguing about amongst themselves about what women want or need. Thank you to those who understood my point and explained it. Also lol @ guy that got banned
If this was 5 years ago there might have been like 2 people defending my point of view while the other 98% of the forums would make fun of them calling them white knights and dismiss them. I didn't expect anything more from these forums so this is sort of a nice surprise that some men here actually care about women now.

If you cry over a single death, then you would be sitting in a corner, crying your eyes out, every second of your life, with the tears streaming out 100x that PER MINUTE. It shouldn't matter if the person dying was famous, or of a certain race, or even the way he/she/it died. 100 die every minute. That is 100 souls lost EVERY. MINUTE. All of them painful deaths. Why does it matter that one of them is XXXTentacion? Don't cry over someones death, unless you personally know them enough to care about them. Instead, try to stop people from dying. Do everything you can to make everyone else's lives better. They will do the same. When this happens, we get closer and closer to lowering the deaths-per-second number, and thus less people crying over a persons death. This only will happen if we help each other, though, so please, if you ever see a homeless guy, or a guy with a disability, or a guy getting bullied, help them out. It will help you too.
I do cry in the corner every day of my life you bitch I have clinical depression
