make that alticurus logo appear once per game launch. i.e. not appear when taken to main menu from pause menu
Well... lots of games (especially indie games) display their "logo" multiple times, usually upon restarting or similar commands. I suppose it wouldn't be very hard for me to just omit the logo screen if you restart, but I dunno...

It also serves as a sort of transition, or... "confirmation" (for lack of a better word) that you restarted, instead of just instantly throwing the title screen back at you, with the jitters and whatnot that goes on at the title screen. o_O

You can always skip the logo screen too. Ehhh, I might change my mind though, if that's something others find annoying too.

RANDOM GUN SUGGESTION:
Tomahawk Shotgun: Shoots 3 (or 4, or possibly 5?) tomahawks that stick to enemies
That's very similar to Gun 31, the Tribolt Crossbow. Except that shoots crossbow bolts. :P
I might add something that fires tomahawks though, I like that idea.

And also, every time i press ESC on a pause screen, it basically just shows the Alticurus logo before taking me to the main menu.
Yeah, that's supposed to happen.
At the main menu, pressing ESC quits the game.
At the pause menu, pressing ESC basically resets the game.
In-game, pressing ESC pauses the game.

Reverse that, and you have to press ESC 3 times to go from in-game to quitting. So... what's your question, exactly?

Alright, I just released V37, which is definitely a significant improvement from V36.

There's a new gun with this version like always: Gun 86 - the Strike Beacon!
Basically lets you target a location for an air strike. Fun explodey stuff. :V

It's got a brand new control scheme, where you can ditch the flight jetpack and just run and jump your way through the game with the more familiar WASD setup.

... Button prompts... so people aren't left in the dark about what they're able to do...
You can skip break periods in Infection Mode now (I highly recommend trying that mode by the way!)...

Some other balance, bug, and glitch fixing bullstuff... read all about that in the F1 menu if you're even remotely interested, aaaand...

Yeah. Enjoy. o_o

EDIT: Also, since InstantPlay is sort of broken for newer games at the moment, updating it caused it to not work. That's not really a problem though, all it did was limit it to Download Only.

Oh and the "Mute Music" toggle will be added NEXT version. Thanks again for the suggestion.

I'm surprised people don't realize that you can just download the executable straight from the game page. If you would look, you would see a link that says "Download this game now!" ... No plugin needed.

Although I have to say I really don't like the way YoYo Games is put together, so I guess that's just one of those things.

Hahaha, you gave the bosses nicknames in the new OP, I see...

Come to think of it, I've never actually thought up names for them myself. They've always just been Boss 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. Speaking of which, Boss 5 is actually NOT the final boss. Well... in that version it is, but the real final boss actually hasn't been made yet. Expect it some time before the final release... which might be a while.

Make a gauss tesla shotgun
So like... a shotgun that shoots lightning? Any specifics as to what it might do or look like?

Nice to hear feedback from such a different community. V37 is almost done by the way~

If you mean you're taking a suggestion for me, here's mine: a gun that fires shurikens that stick to the enemy and cause him to "bleed".
I take suggestions from anybody and everybody. The "something nice" didn't really have a concrete idea behind it, it was sort of a half-joking way of saying thanks, really. I was probably just going to put "Cybertails1998" under "Special Thanks" or something.

Gun 43 actually does fire shurikens, and although they just slice right through enemies, I probably shouldn't make another one... thanks for the suggestion though, I'm always open for those!

Well I regret to say that the game's not even done, at the moment I've only made 85 out of the promised 99 guns, but it's still under development, so it's only a matter of time before all 99 are there.

Ive got 99 guns but a bitch ain't one.

Oh and yes, Gun 51, the Puppy Cannon, does indeed fire bitches. Lots and lots of bitches.
