I'd love to pop back onto TF2 if it weren't for some stupid glitch where servers aren't showing up :/

Weird, I thought Valve actually layed off members of their hardware R&D Division some months ago.

I mean, there's still a possiblility that if it's hardware, they may outsource developement and production to another company. It's one thing to research and develope a product, and it's another thing entirely to market and produce said products. I think Valve has gotten the first part down, but likely lack the expertise and history to do so.

Because if hype has told me anything, it's that you're just setting yourself up for dissapointment.

Well, if it's done by Obisidian than I have some hope about it. Obsidian has never had a break since being in Bethesda's employ and Ubisoft isn't really doing much to advertise it. I really do hope it's good. Anyone remember that whole Metacritic whazoo where Fallout NV missed one Metacritic point and didn't get paid royalties?

I kinda want to bang my head into a bloody pulp paste every time these come up.

OP, you REALLY have no excuse for bringing this topic up like many a BLder has done in the General Discussion. Whether legitimate questioning nor trolling, you, like many others, need to stop with these. All you're doing is encouraging the worst of the community, and mind you, you're not going to get a straight answer AT ALL. At this point, this isn't even your topic anymore. The loudest amongst us have more or less threadjacked this unfortunately.

Look, I don't want to seem like the typical angry Blder here. I just want to not be reminded of issues people can't seem to find a solution towards. Because in the end, NO ONE benefits from this besides making the community more or less unappealing towards newbies.

Caribou, I know you miss the old days, and to an extent I can sympathize with that. However, I don't really get what this is supposed to accomplish. Quit responding to people on the thread, hell just lock it already and let it fade into obscurity. Might as well at the very least make room for more of these identical threads in the future in terms of front page estate.

Just remember this: Don't think of laziness as a means of denial towards creativity. Think of it as a way to prove your determination/insanity. There are so few successful AND creative people because things like laziness help root out the muck for the best possible quality out of the pool.

I have no idea how this can relate to you. It's 1 in the morning and I'm tired. However, I might as well get this off my mind at least once and provide an answer that isn't solely based on how my perception must mean others have the same perception of an issue as I do. We're always going to be split on this issue I feels, so I might as well try to alleviate some of the stress and temptation of responding to these.

So...... yeah. Have fun kiddies. I'm hitting the hay.

the project got literally murdered by hasbro, also i never heard of people wanting it on evo

Actually, Lab Zero allowed the MLP fighting game to use their engine after the Skullgirls achieved a hella huge success on Kickstarter for additional characters. Also, said MLP fighting game is(was? HAven't read up much for it) decided to replace all the MLP art assets with their own original designs to get around said copyright. Not sure how it's going so far nor people wanting it on EVO.

Man, next time you go against Olmec you should jump ontop his head while he falls into the lava to enter the Hell Stages :D

Of course, you're gonna need several special items including the Ankh and the Necronomicon to enter Hell. Can't remember if there are more or not.

Also, if you see the ball of red flesh in the second world, throw a damsel into it and than touch it to be transported to the Worm Stage, which if beaten(And it is HARD as nutts) can get you a secret character as well as the Crysknife, a powerful one-hit kill melee weapon that replaces your default whip and disintegrates whatever it kills, meaning that this is NOT ideal for sacrificing to Kali corpses and whatnot.

i honestly think that almost every custom civ in the workshop is trash.  not to mention half of them are stuffty civs based off of popular media, not to infringe on your favorite.

my favorites include faster aircraft animations, infoaddict, civ4 diplomacy mod, strange religions and the roman imperial cult religion.
You are entitled to your opinion as am I. That Roman Imperial Cult looks interesting :O

Heyoooo peoples and peons. I'm looking for any good Civ 5 mods to play and recommend that may hopefully get me back into reinstalling the game. Hopefully, we can also show off some of the best of the best the Civ 5 community has.

Here's one I especially love the concept of:

Because Surgeon Simulator at least seems like there's more to it then just one action the whole time.
Hmm, I can see that. Still, the problem I had with Surgeon Simulator is that when you're finished with all the operations, there is really no reason to go back and replay it, at least to me when I tried it at a friend's house. Not to mention the whole QWOP controls get annoying really, really fast. Hell, Mount Your Friends did the QWOP concept more justice than both Surgeon Simulator and even QWOP itself imho. And yes, that is a real game that is unfortunately confined to the hell that is XBOX Live Indie Games. And it's a good game too imo.

Divekick is really the type of game you have to experience before you write it off. It both parodies and captures the essence of playing tournament fighters. It's just a shame people are writing this game off already without giving it a try.

Stillllllllllll.........To each their own. Hopefully people don't write off Skullgirls as nothing more than a fan-service anime brawler without looking up how it does away with annoying traits of the fighter like the anti-infinite combo system and it's surprisingly in-depth tutorial.

Don't always write off stuff based on appearance.

Also, if you guys are looking to find a match with me, look up gturtle96 on Steam and add me. We can than both show how bad we are at this game :D :P

'Sides, if Surgeon Simulator is allowed to exist, why shouldn't Divekick than?
