Awesome, theres the link, the file for the map is newmap3.qkm in the interiors folder. Its also got the old quark version I used to make the map with. So just open the newmap3.qkm with Quark and my map should show up. If you can figure out how to export it properly to work in Blockland that would be awesome, it still needs a bit of work which I'd be willing to do if someone can get it working in Blockland.

Mapping Help / Help! Error when compiling Quark
« on: May 30, 2008, 05:36:27 PM »
Hey all, I'm having some trouble compiling my quark map and I know I have all the settings set correctly. Its a wierd error that seems like it would have something to do with the textures but I don't know what I can do to fix it. It compiles the .map file just fine and the textures but it stops at building the Dif. file. If anyone has seen this error before or can give any advice whatsoever, it would be greatly appreciated.

Heres the dreaded error.

Mapping Help / Making a map in Quark...got some questions
« on: May 26, 2008, 12:30:14 AM »
Hey, fellow blocklander's I'm making my room as a map for blockland using the QuArk tools. I have a few questions regarding making certain aspects of maps like windows, the clock timer, mirrors and see-through one way walls. I would like to know just how i go about making these things in my map. I think I get the windows out of the built in blockland editor but I have no clue how to do the others. Any help or advice would be great. Making this map both for myself and my only project for a class :D, so its gotta be good.

As much as I would love to punch my little bro in the face sometimes, I think I'll stick to using Ephialtes's script which is awesome btw, thank you very much Ephialtes :)  :cookie:

Help / LAN game player restrictions
« on: February 21, 2008, 12:44:27 AM »
Hey fellow Blocklanders, quick question about playing BL over LAN. When me and some friends play BL over LAN it seems that everyone has automatic equal rights when it comes to building and destroying other peoples bricks. There is no way to adjust trust that I have found over LAN, everyone can destroy anybody else's bricks which can get really annoying. So, I was wondering if theres a way to adjust this just like on an online server; I would think there is a way but I have yet to find it. If anyone else has noticed this or knows a way to fix lemme know. ;)

Help / Hosting LAN Games w/o Internet Connection
« on: February 20, 2008, 02:03:16 PM »
I have a question regarding hosting LAN games with no internet connection going to the computers. I am planning on having a Blockland LAN with a bunch of friends at a house without internet. The house is trying to be sold atm so they don't pay for an internet connection.

We've had problems getting LAN games with computers at school that don't validate with the master server because they are off the school network and connected to eachother via a hub. I hope that Blockland doesn't require internet to host an non-internet game because that would be ridiculous. Any info about this question would be appreciated since I would like to know before we try this at a LAN party.

Gallery / Blockland Xfire Support
« on: February 10, 2008, 11:26:20 PM »
Hey guys, I made a quick build to help get Blockland support for Xfire! For those of you who don't know, Xfire is an instant chat service that provides game time played tracking as well as other miscellanious features for games. I for one think it would be great if Xfire supported Blockland to keep track of how much time I spend on builds; not only to show off but to share and compare with friends. Those of you who use Xfire or are interested in Xfire Blockland support please simply sign on the Xfire forums for Blockland support through the link below.

Heres my quick Xfire Build.
