Actually, Blocky and rawrman are making valid points. People have different opinions. Deal with it.
About the learning curve, most of you are saying it took you longer on ROBLOX because you were used to Blockland's control scheme. However, for most of you, you got used to Blockland's control scheme so fast because you had been playing v0002.
The same can be applied to ROBLOXians. They're used to their controls, so when they try our game, it takes them longer to get used to it.


Just drop the argument, ok? The games aren't competing. All you're doing is using circular reasoning, which, the last time I checked, doesn't work out too well.

Thanks for that frodo. Icame over here to see how well the community was taking Roblox. But since this was a flaming topic, I decided to get in and do something.

And (Even though I should stop) I would still like to point out how Roblox is a kids game, while yours is not. If your a pissy teenager that loved Blockland, your going to hate all the kids on Roblox. Just stay over here, and leave Robloxians be.

You can swear and do whatever you want here, but Roblox wants their game to be safe. Thats why roblox has over 250,000 members, and you guys dont.

Grand Theft Auto is rated 18, has swearing all the time. As well as frequent servings of violence. It has sold more copies in more countries than Roblox ever will.

It's bad enough having one person trying to make a game inferior to Blockland look better. Let alone two, keep your reeking arguments away from our forum before we all get your ROBLAIDS.

Why are you comparing GTA to Roblox? Why are you comparing a game that everyone knows to a game that a few people know? Why cant you compare your own game to Roblox?

Then why are the developers selling cheap add-ons such a birthday hat for $3 to players?
Again, Roblox just looks like a poor excuse for some inexperienced game developers to make some money.
Just to let you know, free things suck 80% of the time.

First off, I would like to point out there is no birthday hat, there is a birthday cake, but as far as i know, that was given out on one of the devs. birthday.

And stop using Builders Club as an arguement! The game plays the exact same way, wether or not you have builders club or not. The only thing builders club is there for is to give you more options of customization,and more places to put your creations (Maps)

Why do you think the game sucks because you have to pay to build? YOU DONT! Theres nothing you cant build that you need Builders club for. Try getting your information about Builders Club right.

I get what alot of you are saying. I get what your saying.

Everyone says Blockland sucks is because of that pricetag. No 13 year old will pay 20 dollars for a game. So they go to roblox where they can play for free.

And dont go complainong about how every game you play is crap. Alot of the builders are stupid kids who take models from the Roblox Studio "Toolbox". And then other stupid 13 year old kids go and find this stupid mash-up fun. THen the 5% of players who know better are out there trying to get the better games more popular, but they utimately fail, because all of these stupid kids are going and thinking that climbing a ladder is fun

And who said Lua had to be easy? As long as it works and you can learn it, im fine with Lua.

And heres to everyone who complains about the building style: Try using the tools in Studio. THose tools work almost exactly the same as yours. Online building isnt the best way to try out building.

OH, and the bloopers? Same thing. STupid videos turn into kids going "OMG that game is awesome" and ultimately joining.

Roblox is... diffrent, compared to roblox. But the thing about Roblox is it allows anyone to go and build their own server and go online and do stuff, while Blocklands demo..doesnt. Roblox will always beat blockland because the whole game is free, unless you want to upgrade your account. Here, you only get a demo. Its annoying. I just tried the demo. ITs alright, but all the keys and stuff gets annoying. I had a hard time building because it would be easier to drag the brick instead of having to move it little by little.

Of course, your game is a bit more stable. But roblox is still in alpha.

And to everyone who complains about the immature kids..Roblox is advertised as a safe game. You can swear and do whatever you want here, but Roblox wants their game to be safe. Thats why roblox has over 250,000 members, and you guys dont.

And those who complain about the suckky servers: Since half of the players are kids, they make very bad games. You need to go to the best built places in order to see what Roblox really is. IF you want to see, go to People and search up "Miked" Hes one of the best.

And dont get me started on in-game coding. I hear you guys are ripping that from Roblox, if your Wikipedia article is correct. Lua is good to use. People are creating RPGs and PAintball, minigame worlds ETC with Lua. You cant beat that.

Scream at me all you want.
