This suggestion was already made this topic should die or be locked just saying dont want to ruin anyones fun

No it wasn't. He was inspired by my idea to make something similar. And it's a well made weapon. BUT what I requested is actually a regular tomato thrown my hand, not shot out of a gun.


Crasher - Keep at it. If you're whipping something up i'd like to see it eventually.
Bushido made an awesome weapon but I still would like to see my idea made real. Which again is the hand thrown tomato. With a nice "splat" sound on impact.

Cool idea, and is technically a "toejam and earl" style weapon since the chickens in the game are armed with tomato guns.

Maybe they should all be made for Blockland...

There's the regular Tomato, thrown by hand.
There's also a Tomato Slingshot and of course the Launcher.

So we got the Launcher down, and Crasher might be working on the Tomato - If you are, thank you.

To whoever writes a script for the hand thrown tomato: When you throw the tomato, make it more of a firm, slightly arching toss rather than a baseball pitch. Give it SOME speed though, enough to wear it looks like it'd hurt if it hit you. I think the arch would look neat and add a little challenge to aiming at someone in the distance. But you'd also be able to hit people from below a build or structure. For example: You're armed with tomato, fighting someone who just flew atop the fridge on the kitchen map. You fly halfway up and toss a tomato up and over popping him right in the head, an around the corner frag. Can you picture it?

This post isn't directed to anyone in this thread. I just want to say...

I wish the whole "noob" thing would just stop. I think it's a little, ok very stupid to hate on someone because they are new to the game. We were ALL new at one time, I'm still new. But why would one care? I can understand if someone new is acting like they know everything and is all around being a prick. But i've seen players with rather low ID's who've acted just as idiotic as someone new to the game.

 I agree with the first post, people who make servers like that are stupid. And need to get out more. If all this nonsense would stop we'd have a friendly and much larger community. I've played some online rpgs and left promptly because of the pisspoor, hateful community flaming you because you're say.. Level 1 through 10. As if they started the game at max level or something. Gimme a break.

Yeah an unsucky UFO would rock. I dig the Outer Space maps, but it's a drag to cruise around in jeeps on them. Though I do like making some sweet jumps on the moon with the creepvan (FREE CANDY).

That's a good idea DrDeath. In fact I was thinking of something similar the other day: I was thinking it'd be cool if someone made some Horns (Available with the Hats) to wear on your head.

Nick, that'd be funny. And a nice big cartoony-sounding splat sound upon impact.

Crasher if you feel up to it I say give it a whirl, pitch the idea to one of your blockland buds who has good scripting skills.
