With some messing around with settings I have fixed the problem. Those of you who forward your ports and still can't host are most likely behind a modem. If you want to be able to host a game with a router behind a modem you'll need to put the modem in bridge mode. Basically when the modem isn't bridged, it decides what ports are open and to my knowledge, you can't change them. Bridging it allows all internet traffic to pass through the modem straight to the router. I can post a how to do it if someone wants, but I figure most people won't want to go through the trouble of doing it.

I thought since this is range forwarding that it forwards all ports between the start and end values. I think single forwarding is what you're thinking of.

No matter what I do, I can't host. If I recall correctly, an update apparently made it where you no longer have to forward ports, but still it doesn't work. So, I have forwarded ports using range forwarding and have a static IP. Every time I start a server, I open the server list and I get the "---" for a ping. I have tried putting my IP in the DMZ too, which didn't work. I'm using a router that is behind a separate modem. Here are a of pics of the console, ports, and ping.
If you need any other info that might help, ask away. I really want to be able to host games on my new computer I'm planning to buy this summer. Thanks in advance.
