how the forget does that even happen?

Could happen when you are practicing and get hit in the wrong way. I got my hip dislocated once somewhat like that. Didn't need surgery though.

I have three broken ribs right now. I have broken my collar bone twice, broke my leg once, broke my wrist once, broke a toe and four fingers and I have also had a spinal fracture.

Were they full cavities or just gap fillings? I've had one cavity before and the dentist gave me a shot but with the gap fillings there was no numbing used; just grind the surface of the teeth a bit and fill it in with resin.

No I have has 2 cavities during my whole life and they did not numb at all. I have had an occasional gap filling and trust me I know the difference.

I must've been going to some ghetto dentist for all these years then. Whenever I happened to get a cavity they would just lay me down and start working without the numbing. It really doesn't hurt at all, I felt a sort of stabby feeling at the tooth but I got used to it.

I just had all of my wisdom teeth removed... while I was numbed. They didn't put me down then and I went through the loving horrid pain of wisdom teeth removal while I was still awake.

Cavities are really nothing, just get them filled and ask for that little kid mouth flavoring they put in there so you won't be tasting anything weird after.
