Author Topic: .kkrieger - The 95 KB FPS  (Read 840 times)

Main Website

Nobody's ever posted a link to this before. Basically, it's an FPS made by a group of PC demo-scene guys. Now, what's so special about an FPS? First, it looks really nice (see the website for screenshots), second, it plays pretty well (considering it's a beta), and third...it's 95 KB.

Yes, I kid you not. 95 KB, everything in one executable.

Minimum Specs:
A 1.5GHz pentium 3 / athlon or faster.

512MB of RAM.

a GeForce4Ti (or higher) or ATI Radeon8500 (or higher) graphics card supporting pixel shaders 1.3, preferably with 128MB or more of VRAM.

some kind of sound hardware.

DirectX 9.0b.

Want to see it for yourself?
Download it.
Certain Anti-Malware programs may pick it up as "Malware.Packer", it's a false call.

Don't trust it.

It's really very short, but other then that it was kind of fun.

Yes I realize it's beta and a to be continued, but still.

Don't trust it.
False call. This'll happen because of the way it's compressed. Plus, if this were true, EVERY demo-scene program that I have on my computer, according to MBAM, is malware, which it's not.

Quote
Malware.Packer refers to how the file was compressed as certain compression routines are used frequently by malware makers to create malicious files.

Plus, my brother has run it, I've run it, and our computers are both malware-free.

From the main website, the graphics look quite cool for a beta. :O
