The thing that pissed me off the most was the lack of a health bar. Why do all the new games think the amount of blood on screen is an acceptable way of monitoring your health? Do they think health bars and HUDs in general are distracting? Because they aren't.

Back in 2142, you had your sprint meter, health bar and ammo counter in the same corner. Probably the 3 most useful things to keep track of and they aren't even taking up a quarter of the screen. Why change that?

The baffling part is that your teammates can see your health in a convenient bar, but you can't see it yourself?!

Hi NKL.

Anyways, BC2's Rush Mode is the only reason I play now (competitive play on clan servers with my friends), otherwise, BF2142 is still the most tactical BF game (IMO) in my current shooter's library.

And yeah, I hated how they completely raped the Health Bar, makes some medics not bother dropping those medpacks cause they cannot truly tell you need health until you reach 30 hp.

Also, there is no sprinting. There is "walking" and "fast-walking". This has to be the slowest movement speed I've ever seen. And as for me nitpicking, I'd like to say that the point of view for the guns just seems odd to me. I can't explain it really.

I don't know why so many of you stuff on it. I loved it.
Being in a clan makes all the difference imo. That's when the tactical approach really comes into effect for most.
