Wow, message got in just in time, i was afraid i was going to have to buy the orange box for ps3 just to play portal.

Edit: Wait, does this mean TF2 for ps3 will finally get updates?

The orange box for PS3 doesn't have steamworks, and it isn't the official port, so no.
