Author Topic: I should be able to host servers for people who can't host themselves....  (Read 1330 times)

Don't be handicapped, dude.  Do you think I manage 20,000+ keys manually?  Switching IP addresses is not a problem and neither is hosting a bunch of dedicated servers on a different IP while you play.  The only time I've de-activated keys is when they are used by a huge number of different IPs in a short period of time (which is evidence that the key has been leaked onto the internet) or if it rapidly alternates between two distant locations.

DrenDran can easily host many dedicated servers for other people using his key.  They will all be named "DrenDran's <whatever>".  This is fine.

Ah, thanks Badspot.
Also Tom/Otis/anyone, I never had any intention of changing the name. The servers hosted would be like:
"DrenDran's & <name>'s <title>" just like Badspot said.

So when can you do it?
And will they stay on forever?

I just finished getting it all set up for hosting.
Come to "DrenDran's Dedicated Server of stuff" and we'll talk.
